Travel To Terrell
Located in eastern Texas, right off the I-20 and only 30 miles to Dallas, Terrell is small but charming city in Kaufman County. Home to the Terrell Heritage Museum, guests of the Best Western hotel in Terrell will enjoy many of it's historical artifacts - the building itself was built in 1904. The No. 1 British Flying Training School Museum is another attraction guests will enjoy. It's home to archives containing the most extensive record of the British Flying Training School that exists, WWII memorabilia, and is just minutes from downtown.
Be sure to take the scenic trip west along the U.S. 80 into Dallas. If in season, be sure to check out a Dallas Cowboys football game, as they play at the state-of-the-art Cowboys Stadium, in Arlington. The Dallas Mavericks of the NBA are always a big draw. The season begins in October and runs through June - be sure to take in a game as they run-and-gun through the rest of the Western Conference.
