San Antonio’s River Walk is lit for the holidays. Take a stroll along the San Antonio River among festive holiday lights and displays. On weekends through December 16th, let more than 6,000 luminarias light your way at the Ford Fiesta de las Luminarias, celebrating the tradition of the luminarias and lighting the way for the Holy Family. All to soon, the holidays are over, however San Antonio festivities continue into 2013. January brings the U.S. Army All-American Bowl and the San Antonio Cocktail Conference, followed by February’s San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. Visit San Antonio year-round for world-class events and festivities.
SeaWorld San Antonio opens for shows the holiday weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's, with the 2013 opening later in the year. Likewise, Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio opens weekends during December and New Year's week – look for the 2013 opening in March. Winter in San Antonio certainly doesn’t stop the fun.
Arguably San Antonio’s premier annual event, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo returns February 7th through the 24th. Rodeo, livestock shows, horse shows, a fair and a carnival – SASSAR has it all - Darius Rucker performs with the PRCA finals, Justin Moore performs with Xtreme Bulls, and Clay Walker kicks off the concerts on February 7th. The San Antonio Spurs are in full 2012 – 2013 regular season play, with home games at the AT&T Center, east of downtown San Antonio. The Spurs' 2012 – 2013 season runs through April 17th, with the last home game against the Wolves. Hockey fans in San Antonio are in luck. The San Antonio Rampage, an AHL team, are entertaining fans on the ice at the AT&T Center. The Rampage's 2012 – 2013 regular season runs April 14th through the 20th, featuring four home matches.
Even football fans have some action in San Antonio. The Alamodome hosts the 2013 U.S. Army All-American Bowl on January 5th. The All-American Bowl features the top high school players from across the country, in an East vs. West match-up. Join the excitement in southeastern San Antonio and watch the next generation of great players battle it out on the field.
After a successful first year, the San Antonio Cocktail Conference returns in 2013 for the 2nd annual event. Benefiting HeartGift, the Cocktail Conference brings together bartenders and cocktail enthusiasts, January 17th through the 20th at various downtown San Antonio venues. The Majestic Theater hosts the opening night gala, featuring entertainment by Arturo Sandoval and food by the San Antonio Chef Coalition. The San Antonio Cocktail Conference is the place to learn or enjoy the latest tasty cocktail combinations.

Bud Light River City Rockfest with Guns n' Roses
After a bumpy fall from the top, which cost him guitar god bandmate Slash, Axl Rose is back and ready to rock the AT&T Center along with fellow 90s powerhouse Alice In Chains. Asking Alexandria and Bullet for my Valentine bring a heavier, more modern sound from across the pond. Gates open at noon.

NDG Scifest
Offering fun for families and sci-fi nerds alike, the event will feature live music, food, costumes, art and more. The Wonderland of the Americas Shopping Mall will host the event beginning at 10 A.M. Saturday.

The American Heart Association hosts this fundraising event at Nelson Wolff Stadium in San Antonio. Activities start at 5:30 P.M.
