From: Jack Brooks Regional Airport. Head north on Airline Drive toward Jerry Ware Drive. Continue onto Jerry Ware Drive and turn right onto U.S. 69 access road. Take the ramp on the left onto US-287 South/US-69 South/US-96 South. Take the exit onto TX-73 East and make a slight left onto TX-73 West. The Best Western Orange Inn & Suites will be on the left.

From: Lake Charles Regional Airport. Head northeast on Airport Boulevard toward East Tank Farm Road. Turn left onto LA-385 North and continue onto Common Street. Then turn left onto East College Street and take the third right onto Ryan Street. Make a left turn to merge onto I-210 West toward Beaumont. Take Exit 1A on the left toward East Sulphur, Louisiana. Keep left at the fork and follow signs for I-10 West/Beaumont and merge onto I-10 West entering Texas. Exit onto the service road and turn left onto TX-73 West. The Best Western Orange Inn & Suites will be on the right.

Art Museum of Southeast Texas

Established in 1950, the Art Museum of Southeast Texas is located on the Texas Gulf Coast – east of Houston and west of Vidor in Beaumont. Formerly the Beaumont Art Museum, the museum is housed in a five-acre institute in Old Town Beaumont.

Coast Guard Station Sabine Pass

Set on the Louisiana border, the United States Coast Guard Station Sabine Pass is found in eastern Texas on the Gulf of Mexico coast. Originally established in 1879, the USCG Station Port O'Connor is a Search & Rescue Station, and an Aid to Navigation Teams.

The Sabine Pass station neighbors the Sabine Pass Light – a historic lighthouse listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Fire Museum of Texas

Set in downtown Beaumont, the Fire Museum of Texas has been preserving the history of fire fighting service since it opened in 1986. The museum is housed in a 1927 Central Fire Station, a Historic Landmark in eastern Texas. Since admission is free, visit as often as you like.

Museum highlights include the 1856 Howe Hand Drawn Pumper, the 1909 Aerial ladder truck and the 1931 Light Truck that was used in the search efforts of the 1937 New London School Explosion. The interactive mini house is a favorite for the children visiting the museum.
