Visiting Texas Gulf Coast
Galveston oh Galveston, and as the song goes you can still hear the sea waves crashing. Less than an hour southeast of Houston, Galveston and Galveston Island anchor the north end of the Texas Gulf Coast. Stretching over 350-miles along the Gulf of Mexico, the Texas Gulf region is filled with great beaches, wildlife and spectacular natural beauty. From Beaumont and small communities like Vidor, near the northern state line, south through Galveston, Port Lavaca and Corpus Christi seemingly endless festivals, events and fun draw visitors to the gulf.
