Hotels in Dalhart, TX

One of the northwestern most cities in Texas, Dalhart is intersected by Highway 54 and is a short drive from nearby Dumas. Dalhart, the seat of Dallam County, is also only an hour and half from Amarillo, and is home to the popular summer spot, Lake Rita Blanca.

While in Dalhart enjoy a visit to the XIT Museum, less than a mile from downtown. Once there, be sure to explore the museum, where you can learn all about the XIT Ranch – which is host to the XIT Rodeo and Reunion. Pack a picnic basket and explore the Panhandle region of Texas – head over to Lake Rita Blanca Park where the kids can run around and tire themselves out.
