2014 Big Bend Balloon Bash
Join in the annual Alpine festivities as larger-than-life hot air balloons are launched into the sky with a Fire Concert at Buck Stadium on the second day. Launch times vary.
2014 Fall Art in the Park
Local art and craft vendors display their work at the Memorial Park Reserve for the two day event in El Paso. The festivities begin at 10 a.m.
2014 Wing Wars
Foodies gather for the Amarillo chicken wing cook-off with live music and plenty of beverages. The grills light at 4 p.m.
Downtown Alpine transforms into a vessel for local artists, concerts, and culture during the two day festival. The festivities begin at 10 a.m.

Music in the Gardens Pack a picnic dinner and layout the blanket at the Amarillo Botanical Gardens to settle in for an evening concert. The music begins at 7 p.m.
Wine & Vines Wineries from all over Texas gather at McPherson Cellars in Lubbock bringing wine for you to taste and sample. McPherson Cellars opens at 11 a.m.
Desert Reflections Car Show Wander among beautiful cars at Hill Park in Monahans as you enjoy live music and good food. Registration for cars begins at 8 a.m.
Tri-State Fair and Rodeo Midway games and rides fill the Amarillo Tri-State Exposition Grounds once again for this fun annual event. Times vary per day.
2014 Abilene Heart Walk Join in on this non-competitive 5K walk around Nelson Park. The walk begins at 9 a.m.
Haunted Abilene Get into the Halloween mood by paying a visit to the Swenson House and touring some of most haunted locations in Abilene. This year’s theme is based on the Grimm’s Fairy Tales. The scares begin at 7 p.m.
