Hotels in Buda, TX
One of the area's quaint and charming suburbs, Buda is a short drive from Austin and an ideal landing spot on your next Texas adventure. Buda was formally established on April 1, 1881 when Mrs. Cornelia Trimble donated land for a town site at an International-Great Northland Railroad depot. The area had earlier been settled as part of a Mexican land grant.
Explore Buda and the surrounding Hill Country – find your way to the Plum Creek Golf Course and play 18 holes. Head north a bit and check out two excellent Austin golf courses: Roy Kizer Golf Course and Jimmy Clay Golf Course. Plan a festive spring picnic at Stagecoach Park – don't miss the views of Onion Creek, flowing right through the middle of town.
