Rayl Family Park
As you explore Lake Worth, enjoy a city rich in local flare and culture, an ideal location for your next spring visit into the Lone Star State. Lake Worth is home to the Rayl Family Park, a charming destination for a pleasant afternoon of relaxation. There's a playground for the kids, a small walking trail perfect for a bit of bird watching, and covered picnic tables – enjoy the fresh air of the Dallas-Forth Worth Metroplex.
Nestled neatly along Pueblo Trail and Apache Trail, just inland of the actual Lake Worth (body of water), the Rayl Family Park still features the tiny home where Bill and Evia Rayl moved into in 1941. The house is fenced off, but features a very unique architecture and a large, classic looking windmill. The land was donated to the city of Lake Worth in 2000 and soon after became a charming city park.
