Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge

The skyline of Dallas is dotted with several iconic landmarks and skyscrapers. The Renaissance Tower, Comerica Bank Tower and Fountain Place are a few of the postmodernist skyscrapers in downtown Dallas.
One of the newest Dallas landmarks is the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. This beautiful six lane bridge designed by Santiago Calatrava, crosses the Trinity River, connecting Woodall Rodgers Freeway to Singleton Boulevard. This West Dallas cable-stayed bridge spans 1,870 feet in length.
The bridge opened on March 29, 2012 and features a four hundred foot central arch pylon that can be seen for many miles.
The opening ceremony was attended by 40,000 people and included a wonderful display of fireworks, performances by Lyle Lovett, Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights, celebrity chefs, a street fair and a Trinity River Levee 5K and 10K Run. While in "Big D", rest comfortably with one of the local Best Western hotels and enjoy our time in the city.
