Mackenzie Park

The site of the Battle of Yellow House Canyon, Mackenzie Park is a 248-acre public park in northern Texas. The largest recreation area in Lubbock, Mackenzie Park features everything from the Meadowbrook Golf Course to the ALON/USA Fina "Crossroads of Time" sculpture garden.

Guests traveling with children may visit the onsite Joyland Amusement Park, or can stop by Prairie Dog Town and the American Windmill Museum. Other Mackenzie Park activities include picnicking, horseback riding, and disc golf.
