The Great Texas Mosquito Festival

The Great Texas Mosquito Festival in Clute, is a Texas-sized celebration of Mosquitos. Family fun abounds during this three-day, family event. Kids love riding the carnival rides, playing the carnival games and getting their faces painted. Adults and children alike, have fun on the Ferris Wheel, the Large Swings and Super Slide.

The Mosquito Legs Contest, Mosquito Chase "Run", the Mosquito Calling Contest and the Haystack Dive are fun events not to miss. The BBQ and Fajita Cook-Off GrillMaster Competition are also highlights of the festival. With plenty of food to eat and a variety of activities and events, this Houston area festival is a sure hit.
