Big Spring State Park

Constructed in 1936, Big Spring State Park is a free-of-admittance Texas state park set in Big Bend Country. Built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, the 382-acre park is open daily from 8 a.m. to dusk in the city of Big Spring.

Outdoor enthusiasts may hike to the top of the 200-foot bluff, or enjoy mountain biking a jogging. Families visiting Big Spring State Park can picnic, stargaze, and explore the seasonal interpretive center and Native American artifacts on display.
