The city of San Antonio is home to many wonderful attractions. The Alamo, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Fort Sam Houston, the River Walk and the AT&T Center, are just a few. The AT&T Center, originally named the SBC Center, was built in 2002 as the home court for the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association.
This indoor arena is located on the east side of San Antonio, next to the Freeman Coliseum. Since 2002, the AT&T Center has also been the home for the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League in San Antonio. The San Antonio Silver Stars, of the Women's National Basketball Association, have played their home games in the center, since 2003.
Rodeo fans flock to the center for the annual San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, to watch one of the largest rodeos and livestock shows in America. With a capacity of 19,000, the center hosts many top-name music concerts and events.
